information about holiday mountain
About us & History
A Family Tradition since 1957
Holiday Mountain’s been the Southern Catskills skiing destination since 1957
Conveniently located just off New York State Route 7 at exit 107, less than two hours from New York Cify, Holiday is easily accessible for a day trip or an extended stay at endless hotels, inns and short-term rentals in the area. Our wide variety of terrain, 100% snowmaking, lighting on all our trails & tubing slopes – we’re perfect for skiers and riders of all abilities.
Great things are underway at Holiday Mountain as we work hard to bring this great amenity up to it’s full “fun potential” under the new ownership / management of long-time local skiers & business owners, the Taylor Family. Our long-term plans include a total of 7 ski / snowboarding trails with the reopening of our long closed “northern lodge area” with its iconic chairlift visible from Route 17. We’ve done a tremendous amount of work in preparation of the 23-24 ski season including reopening of our closed #2 “Turkey Trot” chairlift, extensive drainage and erosion repair, all new snowmaking & lighting new parking areas and updated grooming equipment. Small parts of a huge project which we’re proud to be part of. We’re hoping you join us for Holiday’s
