Introducing the Holiday Mountain Multiweek Programs, an exciting series of 8-week sessions designed to help young skiers and boarders enhance their abilities on snow. Whether they’re beginners or experienced skiers/riders. participants will be part of the same group each week working with dedicated and talented instructors, creating bonds and memories that will last a lifetime. Give your young skier the gift of an 8-week winter adventure with the Holiday Mountain Multiweek Programs. KinderSki

​Holiday Mountain’s Kinderski program is back! Perfect for young adventurers aged 4 to 6, this program is specially designed for beginners or those still working on connecting their turns. Over an 8-week session, your child will build confidence, develop foundational ski skills, and enjoy the excitement of skiing in a safe, supportive environment. Choose from two convenient time slots: Morning Session (9:00 am – 12:00 pm) or Afternoon Session (1:00 pm – 4:00 pm). The program fee is $625 for the season and includes both Saturday and Sunday skiing fun each weekend, starting January 3-4. Get ready for a memorable season on the slopes for your little skier at Holiday Mountain!

Holiday Mountaineers (Skiers)

Ages 7-16

Introducing our ‘Holiday Mountaineer’ multiweek program, tailor made for young adventurers aged 7 to 16 who ski green trails but are eager to advance their skiing to the next level, conquering blue squares and beyond.

In this exciting new program, we focus on enhancing technique, fostering confidence, and encouraging a lifelong love for skiing. Our experienced instructors work closely with their groups to fine-tune their skiing abilities while exploring more challenging terrain.

The Holiday Mountaineers will meet every Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with an hour break for lunch from 12:00 PM-1:00 PM, for 8 weeks beginning January 3-4 weekend. The program will not meet during the following blackout date: Presidents Weekend (February 14-15). Each mountaineer will be placed in a group with others of similar age and ability level. The program will be $675 for the season, not including rental equipment, locker, or season pass.

Alpine Race Program

Our Holiday Mountain Alpine Race Program is a multiweek program designed for advanced skiers aged 10 and older who are interested in the introductory level to ski racing or to elevate their existing race skills.

Our program is a gateway to the exhilarating world of competitive alpine skiing, offering young athletes the guidance and training they need to reach their full potential on the racecourse. Led by dedicated and experienced coaches, the ‘Holiday Mountain Development Race Program’ is the perfect platform for young skiers to hone their race abilities and embrace the thrill of alpine competition. We offer gate training every weekend, in-house races, special event races with other programs or teams, and more.

The Holiday Mountain Development Race Program will meet every Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with an hour break for lunch from 12:00 PM-1:00 PM, for 8 weeks beginning January 3-4 weekend. Athlete’s will be placed in a group with others of similar age and ability level. The program will be $845 for the season, not including rental equipment, locker, or season pass.

Alpine Race Director

Holiday Mountain is excited to welcome Richard Heins for the 2025/2026 ski season. Richard is a 2009 graduate of Monticello High School and a 2014 graduate of SUNY Cortland, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. He began skiing at Holiday Mountain at just 3½ years old, later joining the ski club program before continuing his development at Belleayre Mountain, where he competed in races across New York State and qualified for the New York State High School Ski Racing Championships three consecutive years. His coaching career began in the 2009/2010 season, and over the past decade he has gained extensive experience while earning his USSA Level 200 Coaching Certificate, along with Referee, Chief of Course, and Chief of Race endorsements. Richard is proud to bring his experience and knowledge back to Holiday Mountain, where his skiing journey began.

What is included in the multiweek programs?

Multiweek Programs only include the 8-week long programs themselves. They do not include season passes, rentals or lift tickets. A lift ticket or season pass, and ski or snowboard equipment is required to participate. 

When do the programs take place?

  • The multiweek programs run for 8 weekends starting January 3-4. Sessions for the Mountaineers and Alpine Race Program are every Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break from 12:00 PM–1:00 PM. The Kinderski Program sessions are every Saturday and Sunday with an AM session from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and a PM session from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
  • Please note there is no program over Presidents Weekend (February 14-15).
