Ski Patrol - Seasonal - Paid
Overview:
Ski Patrol is essential to keeping our slopes safe. Patrol members respond to emergencies, assist injured guests, and promote mountain safety through presence and prevention.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first aid and respond to on-hill incidents.
- Transport injured guests safely using rescue toboggans.
- Monitor trails for hazards and ensure signage is clear.
- Promote skier responsibility and mountain safety policies.
Qualifications:
- Strong skiing or snowboarding ability.
- Current EMT/CPR certification required (OEC preferred) or currently registered with the National Ski Patrol.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Pay Scale: $20 per hour

Mountain Ambassador - Seasonal - Volunteer
Overview:
Join the Holiday Mountain team as a Mountain Ambassador and become one of the first friendly faces our guests meet on the hill. This role is all about creating a welcoming atmosphere, supporting off-hill operations, and helping ensure every visitor has a safe and memorable experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide help to guest services by greeting guests in front of the lodge upon arrival.
- Scanning tickets at the bottom of the magic carpets or lifts.
- Assist with our team onsite.
- Promote skier responsibility and mountain safety policies.
Qualifications:
- Strong people skills.
- Willings to stand outdoors for long periods of time.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ticket Scanner / Lift Access Attendant
Location: Holiday Mountain Ski Area – Monticello, NY
Seasonal / Part-Time / Weekend Availability
Job Summary
Holiday Mountain Ski Area is seeking friendly, reliable Ticket Scanners to welcome guests and manage lift access. This front-line role is essential to creating a smooth, safe, and positive experience for skiers and snowboarders of all ages at our family-owned Catskills ski resort.
Key Responsibilities
- Scan lift tickets
- Verify guest access for skiing, snowboarding, and tubing areas
- Greet guests with a positive, customer-first attitude
- Monitor lift lines and help maintain safe, organized flow
- Answer basic guest questions about lift access and resort layout
- Communicate with lift operators and supervisors as needed
- Enforce ticketing and safety policies in a friendly, professional manner
- Assist during peak times, weekends, and holiday periods
Qualifications
- Friendly and dependable with strong customer service skills
- Ability to stand outdoors for extended periods in winter weather
- Ability to follow safety procedures and resort policies
- Must be punctual and team-oriented
- Weekend and holiday availability required
