Ski Patroller / EMT – Paid Weekdays Winter 24/25
Basic Function and Overview: To monitor mountain areas for injured, reckless and lost skiers and snowboarders and for skiing hazards; provide first aid and other necessary assistance to skiers and snowboarders; enforce company skiing safety regulations; complete ongoing training and emergency procedures practice; and perform various trail maintenance tasks.
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Patrol assigned mountain areas regularly to ensure that all trails are properly marked.
- Identify injured guests and list out of control and reckless skiers and snowboarders.
- Identify existing potential skiing hazards, and monitor and report on weather/skiing conditions, skiing traffic and the like.
- Emergency responsibilities include providing care and transportation of injured guests down the mountain.
- Transport equipment around the mountain.
- Evacuate guests from chairlifts.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Advanced skiing or riding ability for all terrain types required
- Must work well in a team
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Must be able to work Tues – Fri: 2:30 pm opening until closing 9 – 9:30pm
- Shifts available 1 or multiple days / eves per week
Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be 18+
- Active National Ski Patrol OEC/OET Certification ** OR **
- Current EMT/EMT-A/EMT-P Certification (will need to pass a skills test)
- Current CPR Certification Required
Physical Demands:
- Occasionally lift and carry people/objects weighing in excess of 150 pounds and pushing/pulling sled with injured guests weighing up to 300 pounds.
- Must be able to withstand harsh winter conditions

Lift Operators – Winter 24/25
Responsible for greeting and assisting/aiding guests to safely use our ski and tubing lifts. Duties include opening/closing procedures; operating lift; ensuring guests have proper equipment; verify guest ticket or pass; assisting in loading/unloading of guests; maintaining lift areas and shovel snow; and communicate safety concerns to appropriate management. Must be 18+ years of age, able to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods of time, willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions and effectively deal with guests. Seasonal Employment. Pay range $15 – $20/hour
Groomer/Excavation – Winter 24/25
Full-time employment opportunity – groomer in winter, excavation work rest of year. Operator responsible for maintaining grooming equipment in a safe and efficient manner to prepare, pack and rebuild trails in order to provide consistent quality surfaces for our guests. Duties include performing daily safety/maintenance checks on equipment; operates equipment in a safe and efficient way; drives snow cat with tiller and/or roller attachment to pack/resurface snow; prepare surface and maintain ski runs and lift ramps; push, dump and tamp snow with snow cat to patch thin/bare spots; cleans equipment; and completes required records. Excavation duties include digging, grading, trenching, moving dirt, rocks, trees etc. typically using a range of heavy machinery. Must be 21+ years of age, have a valid driver’s license and able to pass company’s training to operate equipment. Pay range $18 – $27/hour
