Ski/Snowboard Instructor – Winter 24/25
We are looking for enthusiastic and skilled Ski/Snowboard instructors to join our team. In this role, you will teach private and group skiing and/or snowboarding lessons to students in K-12th grades and adults, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment. These positions require a passion for snowsports and the ability to inspire and guide students on varied terrain in winter conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach skiing and/or snowboarding to groups and individuals, creating a safe and enjoyable learning experience through effective class handling and creative instruction Follow the Responsibility Code and prioritize guest safety on varied terrain in winter weather conditions
- Instruct students on how to load and unload lifts, providing physical assistance to children as needed
- Supervise children during class, as well as during lunch and snack times Promote teamwork and maintain a positive attitude, showing respect for all team members and staff
- Continuously improve teaching, technical, and skiing/snowboarding skills by participating in developmental training
- Follow and implement policies and procedures of Holiday Mountain Maintain punctuality and regular attendance
- Wear the designated uniform and a helmet Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Intermediate to advanced level of skiing/snowboarding ability (comfortable on blue slopes)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work with diverse age groups and skill levels Enthusiastic, patient, and adaptable teaching approach Must be 16 years of age or older
- Ability to pass a background check
- Own and maintain up-to-date skiing/snowboarding equipment
- PSIA/AASI/USSS certification or equivalent experience is preferred but not required
Physical Demands:
- Ability to ski/and or snowboard for up to 8 hours per day in inclement winter weather
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Custodian – Winter 24/25
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
- Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Restock supplies, such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
Qualifications:
- Must be willing to work nights/evenings and weekends.
- Prior custodial or cleaning experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work independently and with attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
Employment Type: Seasonal with Part-Time/Full-Time hours available

Prep Cook – Winter 24/25
We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. Your main duties will include preparing ingredients, assisting with basic cooking tasks, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. While prior kitchen experience is a plus, we are willing to train someone with a strong interest in cooking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients (chopping, slicing, dicing, etc.).
- Assist with basic cooking tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized prep station.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Prior cooking experience is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to work weekends.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Lift Operators – Winter 24/25
Responsible for greeting and assisting/aiding guests to safely use our ski and tubing lifts. Duties include opening/closing procedures; operating lift; ensuring guests have proper equipment; verify guest ticket or pass; assisting in loading/unloading of guests; maintaining lift areas and shovel snow; and communicate safety concerns to appropriate management. Must be 18+ years of age, able to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods of time, willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions and effectively deal with guests. Seasonal Employment. Pay range $15 – $20/hour
Snowmaker – Winter 24/25
Operates, monitors and controls snowmaking equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation of snowmaking. Duties include daily maintenance inspections; performing snowmaking operations: startup, positioning and shutdown of snowmaking equipment; communication with manger/supervisor to monitor and make adjustments to snowmaking equipment for maximum production and quality; and removal of snow and ice buildup. Must be 18+ years of age, able to safely lift 50 lbs, willing, able to work in wet/cold conditions, shoveling snow and/or ice required. Seasonal employment. Pay range $23 – $25/hour
Groomer/Excavation – Winter 24/25
Full-time employment opportunity – groomer in winter, excavation work rest of year. Operator responsible for maintaining grooming equipment in a safe and efficient manner to prepare, pack and rebuild trails in order to provide consistent quality surfaces for our guests. Duties include performing daily safety/maintenance checks on equipment; operates equipment in a safe and efficient way; drives snow cat with tiller and/or roller attachment to pack/resurface snow; prepare surface and maintain ski runs and lift ramps; push, dump and tamp snow with snow cat to patch thin/bare spots; cleans equipment; and completes required records. Excavation duties include digging, grading, trenching, moving dirt, rocks, trees etc. typically using a range of heavy machinery. Must be 21+ years of age, have a valid driver’s license and able to pass company’s training to operate equipment. Pay range $18 – $27/hour
Bartenders – Winter 24/25
We are seeking an experienced Bartender to join our team! If you have a passion for mixology and customer service, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks.
- Use a jigger to ensure precise measurements for all drink recipes.
- Provide excellent customer service, creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies and managing inventory.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications:
- Prior bartending experience is required.
- Must be able to work weekends.
- TIPS certification preferred; willing to obtain if not already certified.
- Strong knowledge of drink recipes and bartending techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Position Type: Part-Time
Pay: $10/hr plus NYS $5 tips minimum.
